Top Hashimotos Symptoms You Should Know About

A Complete List of Hashimotos Symptoms

Do you think you have Hashimotos Symptoms? Has your doctor told you you are just depressed or tired? Are your symptoms so bizarre that you are not sure what is wrong with you?

I have written this page due to the overwhelming demand for a complete list of Hashimoto Disease symptoms. I have my own experience with being diagnosed incorrectly and frankly after a year of research on my own I finally was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Disease.

This disease is tricky…. to many doctors you may seem like a hypochondriac, a complainer or appear you are depressed or have anxiety issues. But the truth is… that many doctors including endocrinologists just are not aware of all the symptoms associated with Hashimoto’s Disease. It’s a sad truth!  I went to an endocrinologist for help and was told I was just depressed. I knew he was wrong even though I left in tears.

I finally found a doctor to help and diagnose me. That was back in 2009. And now I feel the best I have in years. I believe you can too and that is the driving force within this website.

So before I get on a complete rant about that….I want to give you the most complete list that I can come up with so you can check your symptoms.

Do you have the symptoms of Hashimotos Disease?

I know this is a crazy long list but I really want you to be aware of every Hashimotos symptom that I can think of. We are all individuals and your Hashimotos symptoms list may include some or many of the symptoms listed above.

If you think you have Hashimotos and the symptoms above are looking all too familiar, I encourage you to start a word document or grab a notepad and list all of the symptoms you are experiencing. My memory was really bad back in 2009 (honestly it’s still pretty bad…just ask my husband) so having that running list of symptoms was great.

I could add on to the list as I remembered or experienced a new Hashimotos symptom. Bring this list to your doctors appointment and talk about what you are feeling.

I had to go through 3 different doctors until I finally found a doctor to help me. I encourage you to be strong and move through as many doctors as you need to until you find a physician to listen to you and help you get to the root of your symptoms.

Hashimotos Disease itself seems to fly under the radar of so many doctors so arm yourself with as much information as you can. Stop your Hashimotos symptoms from holding you back and start moving forward to a healthy life.
